Glee Season 3
Yeah, I’m a Gleek, which probably seems fairly unusual since I am always going on about my fear for the future of society and all that. But this show, and the way that it’s taken the world by storm, gives me quite a lot of hope. No, I’m not going to talk about how cute I think Blaine Anderson is or how much I loved one of Rachel’s solos. I want to discuss the idea of the underdog and how I’ve witnessed firsthand how this show brings people together.
As an English Major, I think books are important. I’d probably be in the wrong course of study if I didn’t. I have more favorites than I can name and a good quote never ceases to put a smile on my face. But as I worry about most things in society, I also worry about the future of books.
Though this blog is an assignment for class, I find the idea of it rather intriguing. Therefore, I intend to use it to discuss various issues that I come across in my educational and personal lives. There’s probably going to be a lot of different things posted, from articles to videos to things that I just like in general. Hopefully I’ll keep up with this beyond the Fall 2011 semester and use this blog as something I like to do for myself.
